02 / Why plain.txt exists

Built for my iPad.
Maybe yours, too.

I wanted a good text and code editor for my iPad. The options I tried either fell short of what I needed or put the useful features behind a monthly subscription.

So I built plain.txt. A focused editor with the tools I wanted, sold the way I wanted to buy it: one straightforward purchase.

If you work with text files on your iPad, I hope it earns a place in your workflow.
